RESIDENTIAL
The beautiful, homelike setting of the Heritage campus is designed to play a key part in creating an environment of trust, privacy and serenity for our clients. Campus security is discreet yet highly effective, relying not on fences and sirens, but on highly trained staff and attentive supervision. This creates a policy of trust which is continually reinforced to our clients from the time of admission, and has proven extremely successful.
Clients are housed in same-sex dormitories and share basic housekeeping responsibilities in their units. Clients must keep their personal areas clean at all times. Each client is given an assignment to assist in the major cleaning of his/her residence.
The Residential "Units" are staffed by counselors who are well trained in behavior management and intervention techniques. Heritage staff are encouraged to help the youth in their care to develop positive, significant relationships with those around them.
Clients are required to exhibit polite and appropriate relations with staff and peers and are expected to keep a neat, groomed personal appearance at all times and follow the Heritage dress code. Parents/guardians are furnished with guidelines on what is appropriate for their student to wear while at Heritage.
Heritage residential staff maintain high professional standards of training, dress, and judgment in supervising the residential interaction of our students. They will provide the care needed to help each client be successful.
