Life Changing Experiences
Girls and boys in the Peers and Elevate Academies experience powerful, life-changing experiences within the Heritage community and in the great outdoors!
Exercise, new experiences and adventure teach students to love life, to seek natural highs and to look for ways to experience thrills without negative consequences. Exposure to a variety of activities on a regular basis provides opportunities for students to develop interests in activities they can pursue when they return home.
Utah offers unmatched outdoor recreational activities that students get to experience. Also, our location at the mouth of Provo Canyon provides access to hiking, mountain biking, road biking, fishing and other outdoor recreation just minutes from campus. Our relationship with Sundance also allows students to experience cross country and downhill skiing and snowboarding.
Heritage students compete in athletics throughout the year including basketball, softball, soccer, flag football (boys program) and volleyball (girls). Students must meet specific requirements to be able to participate in team sports. Intramural sports, homes vs. homes, played in parallel with team sports, provides an opportunity for all students to participate in team sports.
Sports played throughout the year:
- Winter: Basketball
- Spring: Softball
- Summer: Soccer
- Fall: Flag football (boys)
- Volleyball (girls)
