CURRICULUM
Heritage School's educational curriculum is consistent with our mission and services in empowering the whole child academically, therapeutically, and through positive social experiences.
Academic education is provided directly by the Heritage School on campus. We identify and deliver the resources required to achieve individual academic objectives and include but are not limited to:
- Special education experiences for teens whose emotional disturbances or learning disabilities make it difficult to learn;
- Education designed to promote educational and intellectual development;
- Opportunities to remedy deficiencies in the education of clients who have fallen behind because of their disorder(s); and
- GED and college preparation courses, as well as vocational assessment.
- Educational services that provide accelerated and more challenging academic work for advanced students.
Heritage students work toward obtaining their high school diplomas, while learning successful living skills. School is year-round, with three semesters and breaks between each semester. Students are enrolled in classes according to their credit needs, and with consideration for their academic levels. Honor roll recognition is given to students with exceptional grade point averages.
We welcome your inquiries regarding our specific curriculum offerings, grading scale, graduation requirements, and other education-related issues.
